More and more jobs will be assisted by robots. To do this one needs to have an understanding of the inner workings of the robots and know how to operate them safely. Currently, robots have to be individually customised for their tasks. This means creating custom made software, or specifically designed grippers.

Course content

In this one-day course you will learn about the basics of robot operation. In this course we will discuss multiple types of robots (industrial robot, cobot, articulated, scara, delta arm, etc.) and the ways to operate them. We will also cover multiple safety systems that can be used to  create a safe working environment. Generally, the robot interfaces with other automated systems (conveyor belts etc.). These interfaces will also be discussed. Lastly, we will cover the grippers possibilities of picking up objects.
