How can humans stay in control over artificial intelligence and autonomous systems? How can we design and engineer systems that support societal values?

The rapid development of AI brings benefits, but also creates ethical and socio-economic challenges. Now is the time to define how we want intelligent technologies to advance human well-being, without compromising our moral and social values.

You are kindly invited to the 1st AiTech Symposium to discuss how we can achieve and maintain meaningful human control over autonomous systems.

AiTech is a mission-oriented programme that aims to position TU Delft as a university in which design and engineering of autonomous intelligent technology embrace human values, responsibility and meaningful human control.

The symposium will be held at TU Delft campus on the 26th of September 2019 (10:00 – 17:00). It will include presentations by our team and invited speakers, as well as interactive sessions where we can all engage in an open conversation.

Places are limited, please register in advance!
