We are happy to invite you to this year’s first RoboCafé: Tuesday 19 February 2019. Location: the RoboCafé on the first floor of RoboValley.

We’ve invited Stephan Rutten to the stage, who will tell us all about the LOBSTER project. Stephan and his team are developing a small, fast, low cost and autonomous deep sea robot for inspection, prospecting and research. The goal is to have a robot that is able to reach a depth of 2 kilometres by the end of 2019. A first prototype was on show during the demo day of the Minor Robotics.

Subsequently, Eva Leurink will announce a new initiative in the land of robotics: the RoboAcademy. Since the beginning of 2019, Eva is working on the development of a digital platform where you can learn about different aspects of robotics. The RoboAcademy bundles existing courses from fieldlabs, educational institutions and smart industry companies and it coordinates the development of new courses. Whether you’re a beginner or an expert: RoboAcademy aims to help you to gain the expertise you need. So tell us… What would you like to learn in robotics?
